The location is perfect. The train station to many sightseeing locations is right around the corner. Bus stop to/from YUL airport was about a 5 minutes walk. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the BEST I’ve ever seen a hostel offer… I loved the place. So it’s really really sad to me to write that, unfortunately, my stay was not perfect because I woke up in my first morning with bed bug bites on my right hand and arms. That didn’t make any sense to me because the room (and the mattress) looked clean. But then I woke up on my second (and last) morning with more bed bug bites on my face and on my stomach this time, and a couple more on my arms. That was really upsetting.

+ Has all amenities needed: a locker, lamp beside your bed, socket beside your bed, privacy curtains (on all sides of the bed!). + Free towels, hair dryers + Really good free breakfast for a hostel (toast, bagels, waffles, maple syrup, cream cheese, butter, jam, peanut butter, fruit, milk and cereal, muffins, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice) + Incredibly helpful staff + Really nice location. Really central, walkable to many places, close to a main metro station with good connections, right next to the bus stop for the airport bus. Felt safe.

Overall it was alright staying at the hostel. I had booked a 6-bed dormitory room, with a bathroom and a fridge in the room. The bathroom was always kept very clean. The room and the rest areas not that much, they could definitely use a wipe. The kitchen is well equipped for own use, and was kept in a good condition. They have always free coffee, tea, water, and hot chocolate. Besides my negatives listed below, I would probably still stay here again!

Hard to beat for the price point and location. We were worried when we saw that there were earplugs available at the front desk and the bar was open until 3 am on a Saturday night but we got a good sleep. The breakfast was better than we expected and the room was clean. A short walk to the Metro and we found neighbourhood parking with little difficulty.

-I travelled by coach, which the bus terminal and metro station (Berri-UQAM) is 5 min walk from the hostel, so it was convenient even arriving late at night. However, be mindful that there are homeless people outside the metro station, so the location could be uncomfortable for some people at night. -The room I booked was a double room with an en-suite bathroom. Both the bathroom and the bedroom were clean. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. -High-speed wifi. -Small fridge in the room, so perfect for me when I had leftovers/takeouts. -Nice breakfast (7:30-9:30 am) - blueberry/chocolate muffin (seems to rotate), bagel, waffle, bread, cereal with milk, fruits (apple and oranges), orange juice, coffee and tea. -Hairdryer available to borrow at the front desk.

Great location! Right behind the bus station, easy access to the subway. 5 minutes walking from Quarter Latin which is really nice. 10 minutes walking from The Village. Walkable distance from Old Montreal if you like to enjoy the city on a walk. If on car, there is a safe parking from Enterprise a few meters from the hotel for a very good price. Overall it was more than I expected for the price. I booked a private room with private bathroom and it was tidy and clean when I arrived. Super comfy. Staff was super welcoming. I was there just for one night so I did not have time to check the hotel pub, but it did look good. Many backpackers. Montreal is always amazing and my go-to place for boring weekends.

The room was fine, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was amazing!! Not kidding, all days they provided waffles, bread, bagels and muffins (still debating if they were homemade or not because it was delicious). You have two cereals, fruit, orange juice and coffee. They provide strawberry jam, butter and Hazelnut Spread. There was a freezer in my room that I shared with other guests, the one in the kitchen was also available for some meals I prepared. The staff was really friendly, I used the wash and dry service, they had my clothes ready the same day.

For this price point, the hotel offers great value for your money and is generally a great deal. The place has a smallish but functional kitchen space, which is great, and the common area is simple but comfortable. The breakfast options are plenty adequate and, besides, you're pretty close to tons of bakeries anyways.

I had an overall good stay, especially appreciating the excellent location. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Berri-UQAM metro station, which is a major hub with access to all metro lines. This made getting around the city incredibly easy and efficient. Would recommend this spot for anyone looking to explore the city with ease. Staff was available until 3 am.
